Infinite Details
a Nature'sTapestries Series by Doug Landreth
I've always been fascinated by the incredible complexity of nature on every level. At Fall's end or Spring's beginning, in areas around NW Washington, the colors and depth of detail of the woods beckon to me. I'm drawn to the irresistible challenge of parsing out compositions from these scenes with my camera. Captured in a two dimensional plane, it's as if the infinite details blend together to form a camouflage of sorts for the larger elements in a scene, filling in every available space with a tapestry of colorful detail which is easy to get lost in.
